In short
- Your records belong to you. You can export them or delete your account whenever you want.
- Bill Minutz calculates GST and prepares return data from what you enter. What you file remains your responsibility.
- The 30-day trial has every feature switched on and needs no card. After that you choose a paid plan to continue.
- If something goes wrong, our liability is limited to what you paid us over the previous 12 months (section 16).
1. About these terms
These terms apply to anyone who creates an account on, or uses, Bill Minutz: the website, the web app at billminutz.com and any desktop or mobile build of it (together, "the service"). The service is provided by MSM COMPUTERS AND DESIGNS, Tirupur, Tamil Nadu ("we", "us").
By signing up, or by using the service, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you accept them for a business, you confirm you have the authority to bind that business. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Words we use
- Business or you: the business that subscribes, acting through its owner login.
- Staff login: a login the owner creates for an employee or technician.
- Your data: everything you or your staff put into the service, such as customers, suppliers, items, invoices, purchases, expenses, payroll, service jobs and attachments.
- Plan: the subscription tier that decides which modules are switched on for your business.
3. What Bill Minutz does
Bill Minutz is online business software for Indian shops and service businesses. It covers GST invoicing, quotations, delivery challans, inventory with serial numbers and bundles, purchases and supplier payments, service jobs and AMC contracts, books derived from your documents, payroll and attendance, GST return data (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, 2B matching), e-way bills, WhatsApp and email sharing, and an AI assistant and bill scanner. Which modules you get depends on your plan.
We keep improving the service, so features can be added, changed or retired. If we remove a feature your plan clearly relies on, we will tell you in advance.
4. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract under Indian law.
- Give accurate sign-up details, including your mobile number, email and GST state, and keep them up to date. The state decides whether your invoices charge CGST and SGST or IGST.
- Keep your password private. Activity under your login is treated as yours.
- If you think someone else has used your account, change the password straight away. Changing it signs out every existing session. Then write to us.
- One owner login can run more than one business. Each business is kept separate from the others.
5. Staff logins
You can add staff logins and choose which pages each one can open. You are responsible for who you give access to, for what they do with it, and for removing access when someone leaves. Removing or deactivating a staff login ends that person's sessions.
6. Trial, plans and fees
Every new business starts on a free trial of 30 days with all features on. We do not ask for card details. After the trial, choose a plan to keep using the service.
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | In brief |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free Trial | ₹0 for 30 days | — | Every feature, so you can bill a real month |
| Basic | ₹299 | ₹2,990 | Billing, stock, purchases, expenses, challans and reports |
| Pro | ₹399 | ₹3,990 | Everything in Basic, plus service jobs and AMC, WhatsApp, accounting, payroll and e-way bill |
| Add-ons | Priced separately, on any plan | AI assistant and bill scan | |
- Prices exclude GST, which we add to our invoice at the applicable rate.
- Fees are payable in advance for the period you choose, monthly or yearly, against the invoice we send you.
- A monthly plan can be paid by auto-pay (UPI Autopay, card or bank mandate through Razorpay), which you set up yourself and can stop at any time in Plan & Billing; your plan then runs to the end of the period already paid. A yearly plan is paid once and does not renew by itself. We send a GST tax invoice for every payment. If a plan is not renewed, it lapses and the account is locked until it is renewed (section 14). Your account and data are not deleted.
- We may change prices. A new price takes effect only from your next period, and only after at least 30 days' notice.
- The feature list for each plan on our pricing page is the current one. If this table and that page ever disagree, the pricing page applies.
7. Cancellation and refunds
- You can stop at any time by not renewing, or by deleting the account from Settings → Account & Security.
- The trial lets you test everything before you pay, so fees already paid for a period that has started are not refunded, whether monthly or yearly.
- We will refund a duplicate payment, a payment we charged in error, or a period in which we could not give you access at all because of a fault on our side. We will also refund wherever the law requires it.
- To ask for a refund, email support@billminutz.com with your business name and the payment reference. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.
8. Tax and compliance: whose job is what
- The service works out GST, ledgers and return data from the rates, HSN/SAC codes, places of supply, GSTINs and amounts that you enter. If an input is wrong, the output will be wrong too.
- You are responsible for your invoices, your books, the returns you file, the e-way bills you generate, and paying your taxes on time. Check GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and other figures before you file them, and consult a professional where you are unsure.
- Input tax credit, reverse charge, composition and similar treatments follow the rules as we understand them. Tax law changes, and we update the service as quickly as we reasonably can, but we cannot guarantee that every change is reflected on the day it takes effect.
- Keep your books for as long as GST and income-tax law require. Export a backup regularly (section 11).
9. Connected services
Some features depend on outside systems: the GST network and its e-way bill system (through our GST service provider), Google's Firebase Authentication for the sign-up code sent to your mobile, Razorpay for subscription payments, email, Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API, and the AI model that powers the assistant and the bill scanner. The Privacy Policy lists each one.
- When one of these services is down or changes its rules, the feature that uses it may stop working until it is restored. We are not responsible for their availability.
- If you connect your own WhatsApp Business account or email mailbox, you must follow that provider's terms. Only message customers who have agreed to hear from you.
- AI answers and scanned-bill readings can be wrong. The assistant proposes changes, and nothing it drafts is saved until you approve it. Check every figure before you rely on it.
10. Fair use
You agree not to:
- use the service for anything unlawful, including issuing invoices for supplies that never happened or hiding income from tax authorities;
- upload material you have no right to use, or anything malicious;
- try to reach another business's data, get around plan limits or access controls, or test the service's security without our written permission;
- overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to build a competing product;
- resell, sublicense or white-label the service without a written agreement with us;
- send spam or unsolicited bulk messages through the WhatsApp, SMS or email features.
11. Your data
- You own your data. You give us permission to store, process, back up and transmit it only as needed to run the service for you, and as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Export at any time. Settings → Backup produces an encrypted file of your whole business. Reports export to Excel and PDF, and GST returns to JSON. You do not need to ask us.
- Deletion. Deleting the account from Settings → Account & Security removes the business and its records. It cannot be undone, so take a backup first.
- Where your data includes other people's personal data (customers, suppliers, staff), you decide what is collected and why, and we process it on your behalf. See section 11 of the Privacy Policy.
12. Our software
The service, its code, design, name and logo belong to us or to our licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for your business while your account is in good standing. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything. Documents you produce with the service, such as your invoices, are yours.
13. Availability
We work hard to keep Bill Minutz running and your data safe, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may take it down for planned maintenance, preferably outside Indian business hours, and there can be unplanned outages, including at the providers we depend on. Features marked as beta or early access may change or be withdrawn.
14. Suspension and closure
- By you: stop at any time, as described in section 7.
- By us, for a breach: we may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other customers at risk, or where the law requires it. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
- Unpaid or lapsed plan: the account is locked until you renew. You can still sign in, renew in Plan & Billing and contact support, but no other part of the service opens, and backups cannot be downloaded while it is locked. Nothing is deleted because a plan lapsed, and everything is available again as soon as you renew. Download any backup you need before your plan ends.
- If we ever discontinue the service, we will give at least 60 days' notice so you can export everything.
15. Disclaimers
Apart from the promises written in these terms, the service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no other warranties, express or implied, including about merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or the tax outcome of any figure it produces.
16. Limits on liability
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost business or goodwill, tax interest or penalties arising from what was filed, or data lost because no backup was kept.
- Our total liability for all claims connected with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. If you have paid nothing, for example during the trial, it is limited to ₹1,000.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, such as liability for fraud.
17. Indemnity
You agree to compensate us for claims, penalties and reasonable costs that arise from your data, from how you or your staff used the service in breach of these terms, or from your breach of any law, including tax and messaging rules.
18. Changes to these terms
If we make a material change, we will tell you in the app or by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the current version. If you keep using the service after that date, you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, you can export your data and close your account.
19. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute comes up, write to us first. We will try in good faith to settle it within 30 days. If it is not settled, the courts at Tirupur, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction.
This is separate from the "Subject to … jurisdiction" line printed on your invoices. That line comes from your own invoice settings and concerns you and your customers.
20. General
- These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the service.
- If a clause turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.
- Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events outside reasonable control, such as a natural disaster, a government order, a major network failure or an outage at a provider.
- You may not transfer your account without our consent. We may transfer these terms to a successor that takes over the service, and we will tell you if we do.
- We send notices by email to the owner's address or through the app. Send notices to us at support@billminutz.com.
21. Contact and grievances
For questions or complaints about the service, email support@billminutz.com, or open a ticket in the app under Support. Under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, you can also reach our Grievance Officer:
